Even though Watson's contract runs out before 2010, hes still taking up a roster spot and probably costing someone else minutes. Believe that there'd be pressure to put him on the floor since he's making $7 million per. The roster spot is much more important though. If need be, I'd rather sign a D-League point for this season, let Malik slide off the books (or use him in a better trade) and keep the roster spot open to try and find a point in the off season that could be part of the Knicks' long term future. Knicks fans love our Knicks, but stop trying to pull the wool over our eyes. If we don't make the playoffs it's not in the name of 2010, but rather; in the name of faulty management starting with ownership. As much as we love the Knicks, we hate ownership and the blunders, demeanor and character. Dolan is a lot worst than Marbury! If we don't make the playoffs it's because of a draft pick with a bulging disc that hasn't been able to contribute, trading away a 20 and 10 for an ill retirement and mis managing Marbury straight to hell. These were three player contributions that were suppose to be above average in play lost while consistently playing a seven man rotation. Forget selling me 2010 as an excuse for the failure in 2009.
